Hajduk Split Announces Gattuso's Departure
Hajduk Split, the Croatian club, announced in an official statement via its website that Italian coach Gennaro Gattuso has left the team.
The club said: "Hajduk has agreed to the mutual termination of the contract with Gennaro Gattuso, who will leave the club along with his assistants Luigi Riccio, Roberto Peroni, Bruno Domenichini, Dino Tenderini, and Marco Sangerman."
It added: "The Italian expert took charge of the first team on June 12, 2024, and led the team at the beginning of preparations for the new season."
It continued: "In total, Coach Gattuso led Hajduk in 43 official matches, achieving 20 wins, 14 draws, and 9 losses. He used a total of 37 players."
It concluded: "Sir, we thank you once again for everything and wish you success in the rest of your life and coaching career."
