Nottingham Forest Nears Signing Frattesi

Saturday 13-06-2026
Nottingham Forest Football Club is moving towards signing Italian midfielder Davide Frattesi during the current transfer window, after coming close to meeting the financial demands set by Inter to release the player.

Sky Sports Italia indicated that Nottingham Forest's management is preparing to make their first official offer of 25 million euros, in addition to bonuses and financial variables, in a deal approaching the 30 million euros value requested by Inter.

In recent days, a meeting took place involving Frattesi's agent, Beppe Riso, and Inter's sporting director, Piero Ausilio, with officials from the English club, paving the way for more serious negotiations between the concerned parties.

Frattesi did not secure a consistent starting role with Inter Milan during the 2025/2026 season under the leadership of Cristian Chivu. He participated in 33 matches across various competitions, providing only three assists, with a total playing time of 1133 minutes throughout the season.

In light of his reduced appearances, Inter is open to considering offers for the 26-year-old player, especially if they approach the financial value set by the club.

Frattesi joined Inter from Sassuolo in 2023 and is under contract until June 2028. However, there is a strong possibility of his transfer to the English Premier League if ongoing negotiations between the two clubs reach a final agreement.
