Mohamed Al-Shennawy, the goalkeeper of Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that it is a great honor for any player to win championships with their team, and the players have made an important history for themselves.

Al-Shennawy said in his statements: "The players made history after overcoming all obstacles in a very important stage, and none of them spared a drop of sweat in order to win the title."

The Al-Ahly goalkeeper added: “I am happy after winning the league title for the 45th time, which is one of the most precious titles in my career, after it came following the overcoming of many difficulties and challenges.”

He emphasized: "I hold this championship in high regard alongside the league title we achieved in 2019, and I thank the players for being up to the responsibility in tough times, and we achieved our goal of making the fans happy."

He explained: "The coaching staff, led by Emad Nassar, exerted great efforts with the players during a difficult period, and succeeded in achieving their goal of winning the league title, after treating the past matches as cup matches."

He concluded: "Al-Ahly will prepare strongly for the FIFA Club World Cup, the team has a distinguished history of participation, and everyone is looking forward to competing in the tournament with its new format and writing a new history in the World Cup."
