Media: Al Ahly Will Agree to Sell Imam Ashour Under This Condition
Media figure Karim Ramzy confirmed that Al Ahly will agree to sell Imam Ashour, the star of the team, if they receive an attractive offer.
Ramzy said during the program "Game and Another" on Mega FM Radio: "It is possible to agree to sell Imam Ashour, provided that the offer is no less than 10 million dollars, and that the new coach expresses his approval to sell the player."
He added: "Al Ahly's involvement in the deal for Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan was part of the possibility of agreeing to sell Imam Ashour in the future, as the idea of letting him go is not easy, which is why the idea of signing Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan came up."
He continued: "Recently, Imam Ashour requested an increase in his contract to the first-class category in Al Ahly, and he asked for an increase in his salary to 30 million pounds per season, and Al Ahly agreed to this. Al Ahly decided to raise the salaries of its players due to signing several stars in the summer transfer market."
Ramzy concluded his statements by saying: "Al Ahly will not mind Imam Ashour's departure due to investment in the team, but on the condition that a suitable replacement like Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan is available to replace Imam Ashour. Imam Ashour is the most important player in Egypt and in Al Ahly, and Al Ahly has set a margin that if an attractive offer comes for the player, they will agree to sell him for no less than 10 million dollars."
