Zed Coach: Al Ahly is the Closest to Winning the League Title
Adel Mustafa, the coach of Zed team, believes that the new coaching staff of Al Ahly has created new motivations for the players and that the Red team is the closest to winning the league title this season.
Mustafa stated during the program "Game and Another" on Mega FM radio: "Al Ahly is the closest to winning the Premier League title as long as there is a points difference between them and Pyramids."
He added: "Al Ahly has good motivations to win the league, including the presence of a new coaching staff, and Mohamed Youssef has created new motivations, while Imad Nasr has also created new motivations for the players, and there is a spirit on the pitch. This season's league is different, and I see that this season's league is one of the best leagues that Egyptian football has seen, with competition, and the league has become very exciting, which adds a lot of enjoyment."
He further remarked: "Achraf Bencharki is a great player and a strong addition; he has played in big teams like Zamalek and Wydad, and he has special abilities. Not all players know how to defend and attack well, and Tahr Mohamed Tahr is a winger who knows how to defend very well, and each player has different abilities from the others."
He continued: "Jose Riveiro is a good coach and has shown good levels with Orlando, but it’s too early to judge him. Al Ahly wants a coach who excels in attacking football, and I have good hopes for the new coach. I support the coach who has passion and ambition, and we need a coach with the talent to manage well. All the coaches who have trained Al Ahly did not have strong CVs, like Jose, who was not known, but he achieved impressive successes with Al Ahly."
The Zed coach concluded his statements by saying: "Mustafa El Ash is not known to me whether he will continue with Al Ahly or return to Zed, but Mustafa El Ash is an addition and can play in more than one position and has strong abilities; he is a magical solution for any coach and is still young, and he will be an even stronger addition over time. El Ash's beginnings with Al Ahly were not the best, but he has developed significantly."
