The Swiss newspaper "Blick" confirmed that Marcel Koller, the coach of Al Ahly, is close to leaving his position after the team exited the African Champions League.
Al Ahly failed to qualify for the Champions League final after drawing against South Africa's Sundowns in the second leg of the semi-final with a score of 1-1, while the first leg ended in a goalless draw (0-0).
The newspaper stated: "Marcel Koller was pelted with bottles by fans, and according to information, he is on the verge of being dismissed from coaching Al Ahly."
