Milan Aims to Strengthen Its Roster This Summer

Friday 11-04-2025
The Italian club AC Milan has started early moves to strengthen the team's roster in preparation for the 2025/2026 season, as reports have revealed that Jeffrey Moncada, the head of scouting at Milan and responsible for contracts at the club, has already begun tangible steps to attract some prominent talents in Serie A.

According to 'Football Italia', Moncada has contacted the agent of young defender Pietro Comuzzo, a Fiorentina player and part of the Italian national team, to assess the possibility of signing him in the near future. Comuzzo is considered one of the most prominent defensive talents in Calcio, having previously rejected a €30 million offer from Napoli for his services last January.

At the same time, Milan is closely monitoring the situation of international winger Federico Chiesa, currently at Liverpool, in anticipation of a potential future signing. Although there has been no official communication yet between Milan's management and the player's agent, the latter has a strong relationship with the Rossoneri management, which could facilitate negotiations if an official step is taken.

These moves come amid Milan's desire to restore Italian identity within the team by signing outstanding local players who can form a strong core for the club in the coming years.
