Pau Koundé: This is what we missed, and we must be positive

Pau Koundé, the defender of FC Barcelona, appeared in press statements after the 1-1 draw against Betis in the 30th round of the La Liga, in a match held at the Montjuïc Stadium.

The player said: "We gave everything today to win, in the first half we played as we wanted, but the second half was different and we didn't offer much, it was boring for the fans."

He added: "After the Atlético Madrid match in the cup, we were tired today, but we knew we had to give more, we are not looking for excuses, and we always want to give our all."

He continued: "There is a schedule full of matches, but that is not an excuse. Today we lacked decisiveness, we missed the final touch, Betis played defensively most of the time."

He increased: "We feel bitter about this draw, we come out of the match feeling like we lost, because we had the chance to widen the points gap to 6 after Real Madrid's loss, we got a point, and we must be positive."

He concluded: "I finished the match a little tired, but I am fine. Did Antony tire you? Yes, a little, he is a great player, and we had a strong encounter, it was really a great match."
