Algeria Tears Through Mozambique's Net in World Cup Qualifiers

The match between Algeria and Mozambique, held today as part of the sixth round of the Africa World Cup 2026 qualifiers, ended with Algeria winning 5-1.

Algeria's first goal was scored by Mohamed Amoura in the eighth minute, followed by Aissa Mandi adding the second goal in the 23rd minute, and in the 30th minute, Mohamed Amoura netted Algeria's third goal.

Mozambique's goal was scored by Geny Catamo in the 39th minute, then Jowin Hjam scored the fourth goal for Algeria in the 65th minute, and in the 80th minute, Mohamed Amoura added a fifth goal for Algeria.

With this result, Algeria's points increased to 15, leading the group standings, while Mozambique's points remained at 12 in second place.
