Flick: The red card helped us, and we will fight for all titles

Barcelona coach Hans Flick appeared in a press statement after the 4-0 victory over Real Sociedad in La Liga's 26th round, in the match held at the Montjuïc Stadium.

The coach began his remarks: "124 goals in 40 matches? We love to play this way, as much as possible in attack. It's good to have this attitude. I think we occupied the right positions today. But it is true that the red card helped us today."

Regarding Dani Olmo's participation, he said: "Honestly, I was thinking of starting with Gavi, but he felt some discomfort. He wasn't feeling well, and we changed the plan. That's why Olmo played."

He added: "Gavi told us yesterday that he was suffering from a fever, and we had to take that into account. His temperature rose, but we decided it wasn't necessary to take the risk."

He continued: "Is it time to win everything? This is not the time to talk about that. We need to focus on Benfica. Of course, we will fight for all titles.

On Ancelotti's statements that the title will be decided in the last round, he said: "I always look at the next match and do not look further than that. I am satisfied with our performance, but now we need to focus on the next match against Benfica, and the match on Saturday against Osasuna."

Regarding the importance of rotation against Sociedad before facing Benfica on Wednesday, he stated: "We will see that on Wednesday; I cannot predict it. It is true that there were things that helped us today, like the red card and the early goal. We were able to rotate players like Koundé, Raphinha, Pedri... but we will see what happens because Benfica had a week to prepare for the match, and we won't have much time. I think I mentioned in the press conference after the match against Atlético that we played well, and if we do that, we will have a chance. We are doing well; we will see how things go."

He added: "Do you have the best midfield possible? I cannot say he is the best midfielder in the world, but I can say he is a quality midfielder. And that helps."
