Press sources revealed that the Al -Ahly club administration reached an agreement with Mohamed El -Shennawi, the team's goalkeeper, to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the current season.

According to the sources, Al -Ahly will renew the Al -Shennawi contract for two seasons, with an additional third season that will be activated according to the percentage of the goalkeeper's participation with the team in the next two seasons.
Al -Shennawi will receive an exceptional salary inside Al -Ahly with a value of 40 million pounds per season, so that he receives a salary of 20 million, while the second half of the amount will receive it for his participation in some of the advertising campaigns for the club's sponsors.
