As part of its efforts to avoid sanctions, the Tunisian Federation notified all first division clubs of the need to settle their debts before the winter transfer period, in order to avoid the penalty of being banned from registering. The new players, and the management body of Esperance Zarzissi club succeeded in settling these dues, giving the team the opportunity to strengthen its ranks during the coming period.
