The management of Esperance Sportive Jerba Club announced reaching an agreement with coach Sami Al-Qafsi to terminate the contract between the two parties amicably.

Al-Qafsi took over coaching the team on January 23, 2026, in an experience that did not last long with the club.

During his supervision of the team, Esperance Jerba played four matches in various competitions, ending in three defeats and one draw, without achieving any victory.
