Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta appeared in press statements after the 1-1 draw against Chelsea in the 11th round of the English Premier League.

The coach said: “We are disappointed.” The hope of not getting the three points is greater than the feeling of satisfaction, and it may be greater after watching it again. I think we controlled the match. We were the better team in many stages and situations in the match.”

He added: After Chelsea took the lead, we were very disappointed because the way we received the goals was very bad. It is not our standards and we do not accept it.”

Regarding Chelsea’s goal: “ It was a dead kick in the second stage and we were not organized quickly enough and you can't allow passing like that. You need Neto's quality to do that but our standards were not good enough."

And about Martin Odegaard and injuries: “Odegaard has been out for six weeks and has barely trained with the team, being able to play at this level in the Premier League tells you how much he cares about himself and the leadership and character he has. Everything flows better with players like him. Today we were much better. You can see that everything is flowing but again it is about winning.

He concluded: “We found that every day we had to change something big, you know, the engine, And the wheels, and the wheel because we faced one problem after another and the team usually retreats, but this team has incredible energy and high morale to play.”
