Al-Jaziri: We are ready for any opponent that qualifies for the final
Tunisian Saif Al-Jaziri, Zamalek striker, expressed his happiness at qualifying for the Egyptian Super Cup final after defeating Pyramids in the semi-final on penalties 5-4.
Al-Jaziri said In his statements after the end of the match: “The match was strong, and we conceded a goal at the beginning of the first half, but we were able to come back with the result.”
He added: “Pyramids goal canceled in the last moments? It was definitely shocking, and we worked hard in the match and deserved to qualify.”
He continued: “The first half was difficult due to the weather factor because the temperature was high, but we were able to keep up with the game.”
When asked who he would prefer to face in the Super Cup final, Al-Jaziri replied, saying: “We are here and ready to face any opponent that qualifies.”
