Ahmed Soliman: Al-Ahly’s path is easier than ours

Ahmed Soliman, a member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, spoke about Al-Abyad’s preparations for the Egyptian Super Cup, which starts tomorrow in the Emirates.

Zamalek will meet Pyramids tomorrow in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup at 16:05 Cairo and Mecca time.

He added: "We hope that the UAE will be a good omen for us, as usual, and that we will achieve more victories in the city of Abu Dhabi."

He continued: “We came with 25 players, and most of the basic strength is there despite some injuries, but everyone is fully prepared for the Egyptian Super Championship, and we think first about the Pyramids match, which has good players at a very high level and has many players.” There are alternatives in all centers and high financial capabilities, but the crowd factor will have a big role with us.”

He concluded his speech: “Al-Ahly’s path is easier than ours because it will face Ceramica Cleopatra at eight o’clock in the evening, while we will face Pyramids, which is a strong opponent, but we love challenges.”
