Giuliani: Saud's experience with Rome must be patient
Nicola Giuliani, the Italian players’ agent, expects more Saudi national team stars to become professional players in Europe after Saud Abdul Hamid’s transfer from Al Hilal to Roma in Italy.
Giuliani said in his statements, Saud Abdul Hamid's move to Roma is positive and he should be given enough time to evaluate.
He added: “I think there are between three and five players from the Saudi national team led by Mancini who will leave if they find the right club, with the right conditions for them.”
He continued: “We must be patient with Saud because he came from a different environment, a different league and a different nature of training. Let us evaluate the matter after 6 months. He is not extraordinary, as he spent only two months in his new team, and he needs... Until time.”
He continued: “There is no doubt that the Saudi League will become among the best in the world in a few years to come, and perhaps Stefano Pioli knows this and therefore agreed to Al-Nasr’s offer.”
He concluded: “The league also needs the presence of more great players and great coaches, and even with the money spent, it needs time, perhaps 3 or 4 years, and what will be achieved.” I say it.”
