Zamalek spokesman: We will file a complaint against Bobendza
A Zamalek club spokesman revealed a new escalatory step against Gabonese professional Aaron Popendza after the decision of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to register him with Rapid Bucharest of Romania.
Ahmed Salem, the official spokesman for the Zamalek club, said in his statements that the Romanian Bucharest club granting the international card to Aaron Popendza is normal.
He added: “Zamalek is preparing to submit an official complaint to FIFA against Bobendza. The deal file is open to the Board of Directors and the matter has not been decided yet.”
Regarding the news of the positive sample regarding steroids, he said: “All the news that dealt with the positive sample of the Moroccan Mahmoud Bentaik is incorrect. We have not received any official letters in this regard at all.”
