Zamalek doctor: Al-Wansh is in the final stage of his recovery
Dr. Mohamed Osama, head of the medical staff of Zamalek Club, revealed the developments in the condition of the injured duo, Mahmoud Hamdy Al-Wensh and Ahmed Hamdy, after surgery on the cruciate ligament of the knee.
Muhammad Osama explained in television statements that Al-Wansh is in the final stage of treatment, and will travel to the Emirates for his final program, after which he will go to the German surgeon to evaluate the situation.
He added: “I cannot determine an exact date for Al-Wansh’s return to the field, but we are in the last stage and are only a few weeks away, and the German surgeon will evaluate his condition and then determine the date for his return to the field.”
Regarding Ahmed Hamdi’s condition, he said: “Only three months have passed since Ahmed Hamdi underwent surgery after suffering a cruciate ligament tear, and he still has time to recover and complete the rehabilitation program.”
