Al-Ittihad Club revealed, today, Saturday, its contract with Venezuelan midfielder Bryant Ortega, for a period of 3 years, as part of a strategy to attract young talents and work to develop them to support the first team or benefit from them as an investment.
Ortega, 21 years old, joins the ranks of Al-Ittihad, coming from Caracas, Venezuela.
Al-Ittihad followed Ortega’s career well, which saw him reserve a place. He started in the Caracas team, and played 75 matches with them in all tournaments.
In addition to representing Venezuela's senior groups, he was recently called up to the first team roster.
Al-Ittihad Club decided to loan Ortega to the Jeddah club for one season 2024-25 and represent him in the Saudi First Division League.
Al-Ittihad’s contract with Ortega took advantage of the rule that allows each club in the Saudi Roshen League to include two foreign players born in 2003 or less.
