Olmo: I was looking forward to this, and I will play wherever the coach puts me
Barcelona star Dani Olmo appeared in press statements after defeating Rayo Vallecano, 2-1, in the third round of the Spanish League.
Olmo, the scorer of the winning goal, said: “Since my arrival I have been looking forward to my debut, what a way it will be, it has been many years since we won here.”
He added: “I felt very good. I was looking forward to it and today it finally happened, and I am very happy that I helped the team.”
He continued: “Wherever the coach puts me, I will always try to give my best I will play wherever the coach puts me. I played as a midfielder, but I can play on both wings.”
He concluded: “I am always looking to score. Lamine looked for me well. I scored the goal well with my left foot, which is a good goal. I am very happy.”
