Algerian president congratulates USM Alger after winning CAF Super Cup

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulated USM Alger after they won the CAF Super Cup for the second time in their history, defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 3-1.

Tebboune posted a congratulatory message on his personal account, expressing his happiness at the achievement of the Algerian team, saying: "Congratulations to Algeria and to USM Alger for winning the CAF Super Cup for the second time. A thousand congratulations to the players, the technical staff, and the fans of 'Liasma' everywhere."

USM Alger's triumph came after they overcame Mamelodi Sundowns, the CAF Champions League champions, by three goals to one, adding another continental title to the Algerian team's cabinet, having previously won the CAF Confederation Cup.
