Al Ahly renews interest in signing Achref Abada
Algerian international Achref Abada, defender for USM Alger, is back on the radar of Al Ahly FC as the Cairo club renews its efforts to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window, as part of its plan to strengthen its defense in preparation for upcoming challenges.
According to media reports, agents close to the management of Al Ahly FC have started their communications with the player's surroundings to ascertain his stance on a transfer to the Egyptian team and to explore the possibility of reaching an agreement regarding the deal.
Al Ahly FC are interested in Achref Abada due to his performances with USM Alger, as he has entered the list of options being considered to strengthen the backline, as part of the club's efforts to finalize several signings during the winter transfer window.
However, completing the transfer will not be easy, as the Algerian defender is under contract with USM Alger until the summer of 2029, and there is no release clause that allows him to leave unilaterally, making the approval of the Algerian club's management essential for any official negotiations.
All eyes are on the upcoming period to see if Al Ahly FC's interest will turn into an official offer, or if Achref Abada will continue his journey with USM Alger.
