The Gulf Football Association's Disciplinary Committee has ruled that Al-Ettifaq has lost 0-3 to Erbil after failing to participate in the match in the Gulf Club Champions League.

The decision came after Al-Adalah missed the match of the second round of Group C, which was scheduled to take place on October 28, 2026, at the François Hariri Stadium in Erbil, Iraq.

The committee has not only awarded the match result to the Iraqi team but has also imposed a fine of 150,000 Qatari riyals on Al-Adalah for failing to attend at the scheduled time.

The Disciplinary Committee based its decision on the regulatory rules adopted by the Gulf Football Association, along with the powers granted to it, after reviewing the reports submitted by the Competitions Committee.

The Gulf Football Association has confirmed its commitment to applying the regulations governing all its competitions to participating clubs without exception, ensuring fairness and equal opportunities among teams.

The federation emphasized the importance of all clubs adhering to the established instructions and regulations to maintain the regularity of competitions and apply the governing rules.
