Shikabala criticises Hossam Hassan: You should resign

Mahmoud Abdel Razek "Shikabala", the former captain of Zamalek SC, has criticized Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egypt national team, urging him to resign from his position.

Shikabala stated in remarks on "MBC Masr 2": "For the first time in the history of the Egypt national team, I see a 'commotion' around the coach, and Hossam Hassan must resign. The coach of the Egypt national team must have status, dignity, and personality."

Shikabala continued: "As someone who loves Captain Hossam Hassan, you must submit your resignation; the coach of the Egypt national team must hold a special position."

The Egyptian national team is preparing for its camp in November, where it will face Malawi twice on the 13th and 17th, as part of the third and fourth rounds of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027.
