Hani Abou Rida visits Türkiye to enhance sports cooperation

The president of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, met with his Egyptian counterpart Hani Abou Rida in Türkiye, where both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and develop the mutual relations between the two sports federations.

The Egyptian Football Association's official account posted on the social media platform "X" images from the meeting between Abu Rida and the President of Trabzonspor, noting that the meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation in various football fields, exchanging technical and administrative expertise, developing national team preparation programs, as well as collaboration in areas such as refereeing, talent development, and the institutional framework of football.

The meeting witnessed an agreement to prepare a joint cooperation protocol between the Egyptian and Turkish federations, which includes the exchange of training camps for youth and junior national teams, as well as women's football teams. Additionally, it involves the exchange of expertise and the organization of joint programs to develop the refereeing system, allowing both sides to benefit from the available resources and expertise.

A statement from the Egyptian Football Association indicated that Abou Rida's visit to Türkiye will include attending a Trabzonspor match in the Turkish league.
