Barcelona hold on to Gavi and refuse his departure

Barcelona are determined to keep their player Gavi, despite his reduced appearances this season and not getting the playing minutes he expected.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", the midfielder is feeling anxious about his absence from the starting lineup, but he is not thinking about leaving and wants to continue his journey with the team, refusing to listen to any offers in January or next summer.

Despite interest from foreign clubs in knowing his situation, Gavi prefers to wait for his opportunity and regain his place, especially as he is in good physical condition after overcoming injury issues.

Barcelona are not considering letting the player go, as Hans Flick still relies on him in his future plans. The decline in his appearances is attributed to the strength of the competition and the coach's preference for some of his teammates over him at the moment.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Gavi is not for sale, indicating no movements for his departure or signs of his desire to leave the club, despite his concern about the impact of limited playing time on his chances with the Spanish national team.
