Zubimendi makes important decision on leaving Arsenal in January
Martín Zubimendi is open to leaving Arsenal during the upcoming winter transfer window, seeking to revive his football career after his role with the team has diminished since arriving in North London.
TEAMtalk has reported that the 27-year-old Spanish midfielder is ready to consider transfer offers in January, after seven major clubs have been informed of his situation.
The list of clubs interested in his services includes Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Atlético, along with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Chelsea has also been in contact regarding his situation, while Liverpool has been informed of the possibility of his departure, although his chances of moving appear to be lower at this time.
Arsenal have signed Zubimendi for £60 million in 2025, but he has gradually fallen down Mikel Arteta's options and has not started any match in the Premier League this season.
Competition for midfield positions has increased following Bruno Guimarães' summer arrival, with Arsenal aware of the player's desire to leave and considering allowing him to depart on loan.
Zubimendi has played 67 matches for Arsenal, while his current priority is to find an opportunity to revive his career, amid indications that his time with the London club is nearing its end.
