Barrios enters Paris Saint-Germain's radar
Paris Saint-Germain are putting Pablo Barrios, the Atlético midfielder, on their radar to bolster their midfield, with coach Luis Enrique impressed by the player's abilities, who has become one of the standout young talents in European football.
According to "TEAMtalk", Paris Saint-Germain are the most advanced party in monitoring Barrios, with the possibility of moving to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window, despite the difficulties that may arise in completing the deal.
The 23-year-old player is also attracting interest from Manchester United, among other clubs, but the French club is seen as the most capable of testing Atlético's resolve to keep their star.
Atlético's stance on Pablo Barrios's departure appears unpromising, as he is tied to a contract until June 2030, which includes a release clause of €500 million. Coach Diego Simeone considers him an important part of his plans, and the club does not wish to sell him unless an exceptional offer is made.
Despite significant obstacles facing a move in January, Paris Saint-Germain's interest may develop in the coming period, as Luis Enrique remains keen on monitoring the player and wishes to benefit from his abilities.
