Omar Fayed on Al Ahly FC's radar

According to the "Ahram" portal, Al Ahly FC are studying the possibility of signing Egyptian defender Omar Fayed, who is currently playing for Frosinone in Italy, to address defensive gaps and bolster the team's backline in the upcoming period. This move comes as part of the coaching staff's efforts to reinforce the defense.

Al Ahly FC officials have opened lines of communication with the player recently to gauge his interest in joining the team, especially given his lack of regular participation with his Italian club.

According to the portal, Omar Fayed has shown preliminary agreement to join Al Ahly FC, bringing his name back into consideration for the club's management to secure defensive depth. These developments are part of Al Ahly FC's proactive arrangements to address the team's deficiencies ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Al Ahly FC are preparing to face El Mokawloon SC next Monday at Cairo International Stadium in the second round of the group stage of the Cairo Capital Cup.
