Yasser Rayan: Al Ahly FC looks at results more than performance

Yasser Rayan, former star of Al Ahly FC, spoke about the recent performance of the red team, confirming that it has improved but the overall shape of the team is still not good. He pointed out that under head coach Al-Hussein Amouta, Al Ahly FC has started to focus more on results than on performance.

During his appearance on "Stadium Al-Mahwar" with journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour, Rayan commented on Wael Gomaa's recent statements; he pointed out that it would have been better to direct those motivational words to the players directly in closed rooms rather than discussing them in the media, to avoid them being taken out of context or misunderstood.

He expressed his admiration for Modern's performance against Al Ahly FC, praising the team's determination and desire to win rather than just defend.

In concluding his remarks, Yasser Rayan emphasized that the anticipated match against Pyramids FC will represent a major turning point in coach Al-Hussein Amouta's tenure with the Red Castle. He pointed out that any setback in this match, especially with the rising pressure from fans calling for change, could put an end to the coach's journey with the team.
