Udinese coach's comments ahead of clash with AS Roma in Serie A

Costa Ronjaich, the head coach of Udinese, spoke about the upcoming match against AS Roma scheduled for tomorrow in Serie A, confirming the difficulty of the encounter. However, he stressed his team's desire to deliver a strong performance and come away with a positive result.

Rongaitch said: "AS Roma have been performing very well lately, confirming their place among the high-level teams. We had two great matches against them last season, and we need to approach the game with the required intensity. We know we need an exceptional performance, but we won't go into the match without hope."

He added: "Not scoring goals in recent matches is not a positive thing, but that does not mean we haven't created chances. Davis and Zaniolo are key players for us, and although they are not fully fit, they are capable of troubling opponents and making a difference, as we saw their importance together in the match against Parma."

He continued: "Chakvetadze is a versatile player who can play in multiple positions in midfield; he excels at retaining the ball, moving, and receiving passes. We will play with three defenders against AS Roma, and we need to handle well the physical strength and individual pressure that the opponent relies on."

The Udinese coach concluded his statements by saying: "The team is in good shape, and we will fight for every ball, as the players do not want to give up. Bertola will be available, while Soulet, Bayo, Zanoli, and Alaba will miss tomorrow's match, and we hope to recover some injured players before the Venezia game."
