Burnley appoint Fabio Celestini as new head coach
Burnley have appointed Swiss Fabio Celestini as their new head coach, succeeding the previous coaching staff. The club hopes this move will improve their results and fulfill the ambitions of their fans.
Chilistini has recently taken over as manager of CSKA Moscow and succeeded in winning the Russian Super Cup before embarking on his new experience in English football.
Chilestini said: "I look at Burnley and see a club with great potential and players with real quality who can help us achieve our fans' ambitions. I understand the situation we are in, and I have lived through similar circumstances before. Our fans deserve to see a team that plays with confidence and belief in their abilities from the first minute."
Diego Lopez, Burnley's executive director of football, said: "Fabio has the passion, experience, and knowledge we were looking for. He has shown exceptional determination and a strong conviction in his desire to join Burnley. We want people who truly want to be here and contribute to the development of the club, and Fabio is a clear example of that."
