Burnley Secures Max Allin Loan Deal from Manchester City

Burnley has secured an agreement with Manchester City to sign young defender Max Alini during the current summer transfer window, as the team aims to strengthen its backline ahead of the new season.

According to reports, Aleni will join Burnley on a full-season loan, returning to Manchester City after the loan period ends, with no option for the English club to buy his contract permanently.

Aleni, who is 21 years old, is one of the defenders that Manchester City is betting on for the future, having participated with the first team last season after impressing during his previous stint with Watford in the Championship.

Manchester City has decided to loan him out again during the 2026-2027 season, aiming to provide him with greater opportunities to participate and gain more experience at the first-team level, given the strong competition for defensive positions within Pep Guardiola's lineup.

The official announcement of the transfer is expected after the final procedures are completed, allowing Aleniy to embark on a new experience with Burnley, in search of regular playing minutes and to continue his development before returning to Manchester City.
