Official: Tottenham Announces Signing of Martin Dubravka
Tottenham Hotspur officially announced the signing of Slovakian goalkeeper Martin Dubravka on a free transfer. He will join the team starting from July 1st after his contract with Burnley expires.
Dubravka expressed his happiness about moving to Tottenham, confirming his excitement for a new experience and working under coach Roberto De Zerbi, noting his admiration for his coaching style and the club's ambitions.
On his part, the sporting director Johan Lange affirmed that the Slovakian goalkeeper will add a lot to the team thanks to his extensive experience and leadership qualities, while De Zerbi described him as a goalkeeper with a strong mentality and important experiences that will support the group.
The international goalkeeper played 60 matches with the Slovakia national team and participated in the European Championships in 2020 and 2024, before ending his stint with Burnley and moving to Tottenham in preparation for the new season.
