Carrick reveals details of his communication with Ferguson and Solskjær amid Manchester United crisis

Michael Carrick, the manager of Manchester United, has revealed that he remains in contact with Sir Alex Ferguson and Ole Gunnar Solskjær, given the negative results the team is experiencing this season and the increasing pressure on the English coach as results decline.

Manchester United are experiencing a difficult start to the season, their worst in the league for 40 years, as the heavy defeat to Como 4-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday increased the pressure on Carrick. The club is considering alternative options in case of a potential sacking. The team is preparing to face Bournemouth on Sunday in a match that holds significant importance for the future of their manager.

Michael Carrick, speaking to the media ahead of the match, said: "I talk to them regularly, to be honest. There is nothing specific regarding the current situation, I am close to both of them and we have regular conversations, and nothing has changed this week."

The English manager added, speaking about the importance of the club's history and his responsibility in the current phase: "It is important to draw inspiration from the club's history and what has happened in the past, but our responsibility is to continue building on that. History does not give you the right to keep winning; rather, it is the teams that achieve victories that earn that right." Carrick hopes to lead Manchester United to victory over Bournemouth to ease the mounting pressure on him.
