Nottingham Forest prepare to make offer for Archie Brown

Nottingham Forest continue their interest in signing left-back Archie Brown, a player for Fenerbahçe, after previously attempting to secure his transfer during the last summer transfer window.

According to a report by "Sport Witness" citing Turkish newspaper "Sabah", Nottingham Forest intend to present a €15 million offer to sign Brown when the winter transfer market opens in January, as coach Oliver Glasner considers him one of his top targets to strengthen the left side of the defence.

The English club made a €16 million offer to sign the player last May, but Fenerbahçe rejected it and demanded €18 million, before continuing their interest in the player over the following months.

Archie Brown has been performing well with Fenerbahçe, scoring two goals and providing one assist this season. Last season, he participated in 38 matches, scoring five goals and assisting six others.

Nottingham Forest are prepared to offer €15 million, but Fenerbahçe are currently asking for €30 million to part with the player, especially as the Turkish club does not wish to sell during the winter transfer window. Brown is under contract with Fenerbahçe until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for an additional year.
