Yamal plans to travel to the Ballon d'Or ceremony on a private jet
Lamine Yamal, the star of Barcelona, has booked a private jet to travel to London next Monday, accompanied by family members, friends, and his representation agency team, to attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony, according to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", citing the radio station "Cadena COPE".
The plane is set to take off in the middle of the morning, with the ceremony scheduled for 10 PM Cairo time at the London Palladium. Yamal plans to celebrate with his family and close friends in case he wins the award, after previously planning to celebrate in Paris last year, before the Ballon d'Or went to Ousmane Dembélé.
Barcelona's delegation at the event will include several nominees, led by club president Joan Laporta, along with Koubarsi, Rodri, and several players from the team.
Yamal is the leading candidate to win the Best Young Talent award for the third consecutive year, while Vicky López tops the nominations for the same award among women.
The nominees for the Best Goalkeeper award include Juan Garcia and Kata Kol, while Perry Romeo is the leading candidate for the Best Women's Football Coach award, with Barcelona nominated for Best Club in the same category.
