Agent: Vinícius thought seriously about joining Arsenal

Michael Yormark, the agent of Brazilian Vinícius Júnior, star of Real Madrid, revealed that the player seriously considered the possibility of moving to Arsenal during the last summer transfer window, after the English club showed significant interest in acquiring his services.

Yormark said in statements reported by the press: "Has Vinícius seriously thought about moving to Arsenal? Of course. When a team like Arsenal rolls out the red carpet to welcome you and makes you feel like they want you badly, it is natural to listen to what they offer."

The player's agent added: "But Vinícius' heart is in Madrid, this is the place he has always wanted to be, and it is the place he hopes to stay until the end of his career."

According to reports, Arsenal have made a strong attempt to persuade the Brazilian star to join them, but the player's desire to continue with Real Madrid has settled his position, allowing him to continue his journey with the royal club.

Vinícius has ultimately settled on staying with Real Madrid, having signed a new contract that runs until 2032, with a weekly salary of £480,000.

Brazilian star Vinícius is experiencing a tough time at Real Madrid due to a dip in form amidst the impressive performances of several players, including new signing Jan Duymandi.
