Kroupi nears return against Manchester United
Marco Rose, the head coach of AFC Bournemouth, has confirmed the return of French striker Junior Kroupi to team training after recovering from the injury that kept him out of action since the pre-season preparations for the current season.
Rose has explained that Kroupi has returned to training with the first team, indicating the possibility of utilizing him during the upcoming match against Manchester United, scheduled for Sunday, as part of the Premier League.
AFC Bournemouth manager spoke about the player's condition: "Junior has returned to team training, but he is not on the squad list for the Europa League, and we might be able to involve him for a few minutes against Manchester United."
Junior Kroupi suffered a fracture in one of the bones of his foot during pre-season training and underwent surgery last July, which has kept him out of action with the team since the start of the season. He is now gradually regaining his fitness and is close to returning to official competitions.
