Liverpool lead the race to sign Alex Scott

Liverpool are leading the race to sign Alex Scott, the midfielder from AFC Bournemouth, amid serious interest from the English club in acquiring the player in the upcoming period, according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail".

According to the report, AFC Bournemouth have become more open to the idea of selling Alex Scott during the January transfer window, especially if the team secures their position in the Premier League, with a bid of £100 million arriving.

Liverpool's interest comes at a time when Chelsea have made moves to sign the English midfielder, with the London club having submitted several offers last summer, amounting to around £68 million.

Alex Scott is expected to see new developments in his future over the coming months, with interest from several clubs in his services. Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth's financial demands could play a crucial role in determining his next destination.

The player is attracting interest from several clubs, including Real Madrid.
