Wydad Casablanca have set a financial ceiling for their offer to sign Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi, who is a candidate to replace Portuguese Paulo Sérgio as the head of the team's coaching staff, as the club's management moves to reorganize in preparation for the upcoming phase.

According to reports, negotiations between the parties have seen a disagreement over the financial compensation, as Nabi requested a monthly salary of 60 million centimes, while Wydad Casablanca's management insisted on an offer not exceeding 40 million centimes per month.

Reports indicate that the amount proposed by the club is what Nabi previously received during his stints with Raja Club and Kaizer Chiefs, which the red management relied on to set their ceiling for the offer to the Tunisian coach.

The proposed contract is expected to run until the end of June, with a total salary of 360 million centimes over nine months, excluding bonuses linked to achieving the club's specified sporting objectives.

Wydad Casablanca's conditions also include the necessity for a national framework or a former player from the team to join Nabi's coaching staff, ensuring the presence of someone familiar with the club's atmosphere and specifics. The management also requires the coach to bear the costs of his coaching staff, aiming to control expenses related to the contract.

Regarding the termination of the contract early, the proposed financial terms stipulate that the value of the penalty clause is equivalent to two months' salary, according to the terms of the agreement between the two parties.

Wydad Casablanca has linked part of the bonuses to the results achieved, with the coach set to receive a grant of 100 million centimes if the team finishes the national championship in first or second place, ensuring qualification for the CAF Champions League.

In parallel, the club's management continues to address the situation regarding Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio, who is owed 320 million centimes, according to the newspaper 'Al-Akhbar', while negotiations are underway for an offer of 80 million centimes to terminate the contractual relationship between the two parties.

Ibrahim Al-Asri, president of Wydad Casablanca, is seeking a settlement to part ways with Sergio at the lowest possible cost, while negotiations are ongoing for Nabi to take over the team's leadership in the upcoming period.
