Wydad Casablanca have opened negotiations with Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi to take over the management of the team, replacing Portuguese Paulo Sérgio. This move comes in light of results that have not met the club's expectations at the start of the current season.

According to the available data, Wydad Casablanca's president, Ibrahim Al-Asri, has made contact with Nabi, who has shown initial agreement to the offer. Negotiations are set to resume next Tuesday to discuss the details of the contract and agree on its terms.

The Tunisian coach has previous experience in the Moroccan professional league, having managed AS FAR Rabat and Raja Club. He also informed Wydad Casablanca officials of his need for some time to form a cohesive group capable of competing at both local and continental levels.

The club's management moves come after Wydad Casablanca drew with Ittihad Amel Tiznit, with a score of one goal each. This result leaves the team with five points, in ninth place in the league table, increasing the pressure on the coaching staff at the start of the season.
