Portuguese manager Rubén Amorim of AC Milan confirmed his satisfaction with the development of his team's performance following their 3-2 win against Atalanta in the seventh round of Serie A, emphasizing that the final minutes of the match revealed areas that need improvement despite securing the three points.

Amorim stated in his comments after the match: "Of course, the result is the most important thing, but we also need to analyze the performance. I said after the match against US Sassuolo that we are developing as a team, and the last minutes do not change that, but they give us a clear idea of the amount of work we still have to do."

The Portuguese coach stated that AC Milan was dominating the game before conceding Atalanta's first goal, and they were even closer to scoring a fourth goal. However, he pointed out that some wrong decisions during the build-up play from the back gave the opponent chances to come back into the match, emphasizing the need to address these mistakes.

Amorim addressed the situation of midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who expressed his anger at the team's decline in performance in the second half, explaining that he spoke with him during the break and that he is an important player with the necessary experience to handle such situations.

He also pointed out that changes in the pressing style require time, expressing confidence in the team's ability to continue developing and achieving more stability in performance.
