Arsenal and Tottenham target Barcelona talent

Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing Xavi Espart, the young left-back of FC Barcelona, after he caught the eye with his performances this season, amid interest from several European clubs in acquiring him.

According to "TRAMtalk", the two clubs are closely monitoring the 19-year-old player and have prepared detailed scouting reports on him, while Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus are also among those interested.

Xavi Espart has participated in seven LaLiga matches this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. FC Barcelona has renewed his contract until 2030, with a release clause of €100 million, but the report suggests that a €50 million offer could convince the Catalan club to sell.

Arsenal are looking to strengthen the left-back position, currently occupied by Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly, while Tottenham have Andy Robertson and Udogie. Xavi Espart could represent a future option for the team.

At the same time, Arsenal are planning to bolster their squad in January, with a search for a new winger and following Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig.
