Osipov: Abdul Knight must remain calm, playing with the Barcelona B team is important for his development
Osasuna's former player and coach, Osipio Sacristán, believes that Egyptian striker Hamza Abdul Knight's participation with the reserve team is an important step in his career, helping him to continue developing and gaining the necessary experience for the future.
Sakristan, in exclusive statements to "Erem News", said that playing with the reserve team will be an important stage in Hamza's growth as a player, explaining that being with the first team of FC Barcelona is significant for his career, as he regularly participates in training and learns things that will benefit him in the future. However, he also needs to play matches and get minutes on the pitch.
He added: "FC Barcelona, through its style of play, shows its superiority over its rivals, and this means that Hamza is developing and improving his way of playing day by day."
Sakristan advised the Egyptian striker to remain calm and patient to deliver impressive performances when given the chance, emphasizing that the decision to keep him with the first team rests with coach Hans Flick, and that his inclusion in the plans is important in itself, before stressing that patience is the key at this stage.
Hamza Abdul Knight missed FC Barcelona's squad for the match against Real Betis, as Brazilian Raphinha received medical clearance to return. The Egyptian forward participated with Barcelona Atlètic and scored a goal in the victory over Útibo in the Spanish fourth division.
This comes as Abdul Knight, aged 18, desires regular playing minutes to aid his development, even though his primary dream is to succeed with FC Barcelona's first team.
