Daniel Carvajal: I was eager to find myself again

Daniel Carvajal has expressed his eagerness to regain his form and reconcile with himself as a football player after struggling with injuries that kept him off the pitch, during the presentation of a new player at Getafe on Friday.

Carvajal has joined Getafe under coach José Bordalás until the end of the current season, in a move aimed at regaining his fitness and returning to his best form after struggling with a series of injuries in recent times.

The player said during his presentation: "I was eager to regain myself again," referring to his desire to overcome the difficult phase and return strongly to competitions.

Carvajal added that his goal with Getafe is to "ensure survival in the league, and dream of achieving something in the Copa del Rey and UEFA Europa Conference League," and he will wear the number 14 shirt with his new team in the south of the Spanish capital, Madrid.
