Getafe consider signing Dani Parejo alongside Dani Carvajal
Getafe are considering strengthening their squad by signing midfielder Danny Parejo during the free agents transfer window, as part of their efforts to bolster the team of coach José Bordalás.
Getafe are continuing to work on completing the procedures to sign Dani Carvajal, the former right-back of Real Madrid, after club president Ángel Torres revealed that he has provided financial guarantees to obtain the approval of LaLiga for the deal.
Torres has stated that the decision is now in the hands of Carvajal, who must agree to the final details of the contract, which could extend until the end of the season, with questions regarding the possibility of including a clause that allows the player to leave in January if he receives a substantial financial offer.
According to journalist Roberto Gomez via Radio Marca, Danny Parejo, former Valencia and Villarreal player, has entered Getafe's considerations, with the possibility of joining alongside Carvajal. Completing both signings would provide Bordalás with an important technical addition in midfield and on the right flank, as well as offering additional options to rest players who have played many minutes since the start of the season.
