The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has entered the race for the National Federation of the Year award in the platinum category after being officially nominated by the Asian Football Confederation, alongside the Japanese and Jordanian federations.
The nomination comes as part of the 30th edition of the Asian Football Confederation Awards for 2026, which honor the efforts of national associations and their initiatives aimed at developing football and enhancing its presence at both continental and international levels.
The Thai capital Bangkok will host the awards ceremony on Thursday, November 19, at the "Akara Theatre King Power", which is returning to host the event for the second time after the 2017 edition.
The ceremony includes 19 different categories, including the awards for Best Player in Asia and Best Player in Asia, with an expected attendance of several stars of the game and sports officials from the continent.
Attention turns to the announcement of the winners in various categories, as federations and stars are set to receive awards for their significant contributions to Asian football during 2026.
