The race for the top scorer intensifies ahead of the Gulf Cup 27 final between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, scheduled for this evening at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, amid an exciting battle for the title and the golden boot.

Saudi Arabia are looking to reclaim the Arabian Gulf Cup, while the UAE are aiming to win the tournament for the third time in their history, adding extra significance to the clash.

Omani Nasser Al-Rawahi leads the scoring chart with three goals, despite Oman being eliminated by the UAE in the semi-finals, making him close to retaining the top spot until the end of the tournament.

Six players are tied for second place with two goals each: Nicolás Jiménez, Ali Saleh, and Othman Kamara from the United Arab Emirates, Firas Al-Buraikan from Saudi Arabia, Youssef Nasser from Kuwait, and Rami Al-Wasmani from Yemen.

The UAE trio has the chance to surpass Al Rawahi, needing just one goal to equal his tally, while Al Buraikan aims to find the net and increase his count before the conclusion of the Gulf Cup 27.
